Katie Case Resident Artist
Katie Case is first and foremost a lover of nature and wildlife. It is Katie's appreciation for them and her desire to keep learning about different species of birds, animals, insects and plants that drives her to keep exploring with her camera.
Katie's lifelong passion has developed into a deeper understanding of how her subjects exist in their natural habitat. That combined with 30 years of experience with photography, starting when she enrolled in a photography class while she attended Stockton University, perfectly blends both the technical and aesthetic mastery of wildlife photography.
For Katie, the excitement of photographing or discovering something for the first time never gets old. And then there are her favorite subjects that she looks forward to photographing time and time again, such as foxes and owls, to name a few!
Katie feels strongly about photographing her subjects respectfully and ethically in their natural environment without disturbing them. It is her hope that she can take an image that conveys how beautiful, special and interesting all these different species are and have others share or gain an appreciation for them as well.
Katie Case is a resident of Toms River, NJ and can be found outdoors, but her work can be found online at www.katiecasephotography.com
