From the time I was very young, anything that sparkled would catch my eye. I had a curiosity about delicate things. This interest continued to grow, as I did. I graduated from college with a degree in Visual Arts, concentrating on drawing and painting.

Much of my inspiration comes from the simple things in nature - the sun, as it peeks through the trees; the glow of the moon; a sprinkling of stars in the night’s sky…..

Or perhaps, a bumblebee, as she gathers pollen from the flowers in my garden; the glimpse of a hummingbird, as she stops for a sip of nectar at the feeder; the sea, as she offers her tiny treasures and then takes them back.

When my paintings are not of a nature-theme, I may be found painting people, or sweet desserts - where I can use my love for embellishing.

Simple things matter. Whatever I see in my mind’s eye, I try to bring to life for others to see
